APT #31 SATURDAY MORNING is a continuation of Julian Lucas’s documentary work. We are invited once again to gather our own understanding- beyond our perception of social norms and comfort levels. Julian presents family portraits documented in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Furniture, household items, and clothes cover almost every inch of the apartment with little room to spare. Lucas's non-judgmental black and white photos illustrate a strong sense of intimacy and affection.
