I feel attatched to the city. I had an unforgettable experience when I first visited there. It was summer and I was nineteen. Years later, I became a photographer and I began to photograph New York. I am watching the changes, scenes and people through my several visits to the city.

１０代の頃に初めて訪れた時に心に残る体験をしたことから特別な思い入れを抱くようになった街NY。写真を生業とするようになってから、とある企画の撮影で訪れたことをきっかけに街の写真を撮り始めた。忙しい日々の中、時間を作っては数日間滞在し写真を撮ることを繰り返していた。何度も通うことで見えてくるものの変化、刺激的な街の様子や、少し踏み込んだところから見える人の営みなど、スナップやポートレイトを通して街を見つめている。
