It tells the story of a Chinese family with three marriage certificates of different ages, and there are two recurring sentences that my parents used to describe each other when they quarreled, thus implying the relationship between individual family members along with the repeated red and green blend and collision.

Yumeng Zhang, born in 1996, Hengshui, Hebei, is an independent artist. Zhang is currently studying for her master’s degree in Art Department of Claremont Graduate University, Zhang’s art practice explores the themes such as women, family, unconsciousness, body, etc.
