Claudia Hans develops this book from the formal and conceptual intervention of the book “Songs for my Grandmother” written in 1945, year in which the Second World War ended. This book consists of a series of illustrations and verses that narrate the childhood and the past of the grandmother of the author Agnes Louise Dean.
Silent Songs is the intervention of these texts and illustrations by Claudia, transforming the book into a current piece where she narrates simultaneously part of the life of her own grandmother, what happened during the holocaust and the current problems that tell the story of thousands of people.
